Its interesting. A lot of people were comparing Mike Zimmer to Bud Grant early on and it appears that they were right on.
Zimmer hasn't had a team fall flat in the SB yet but it appears that he is headed down the same road as Grant and others.
A big playoff game is upon them and the team totally morphs into something they haven't been all season.
Grants teams played so poorly and were so over matched in 4 Super Bowls that they were unrecognizable.
Zimmer's team played well in the first half vs NO but were unrecognizable in the second half and it took a Puke fluke play to win.
And then yesterday was, well, Humiliating. The team didn't even resemble what they were all season for all 4 quarters. That was the leagues #1 defense?
Puke is what it was. And Puke is what it will always be.
PUKE FLUKE....EYE like it, more fitting than the Minneapolis Miracle.
The game in Philly was almost predictable, you just knew that the true Viking History of HUMILIATION would show up.
My little Zombie son took it better than I expected. He was very confident before the game and doubled his standard 5 dollar bet to 10 and added a side bet of the loser had to strip down to his boxers and jump in the snow bank for 7 seconds.
